John Humphrey is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in Industrial Design, Construction Management, and Quality Control, spanning almost two decades in the energy industry.

His expertise lies in renewable and resilient power systems, with a focus on developing sustainable solutions for both developed and developing regions.

John has been actively involved in various aspects of the solar value chain, ranging from engineering micro enterprise PV systems to manufacturing products for large-scale installations.

He holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from North Carolina State University.

Throughout his career, John has held key positions in notable organizations such as Sustainable CUNY Smart DG Hub, Wearable Collections, Build Edison, Brooklyn SolarWorks, and Energy Positive LLC, among others.

His professional journey includes roles as Director of Renewables and Storage, Director of Product Engineering, and Principal/Founder, showcasing his leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

John has also been actively involved in mentoring programs, tech accelerators, and sustainable initiatives, demonstrating his commitment to driving positive change.
