Executive Director and CEO for a new Type B Economic Development Corporation.  SEDA was approved by the voters of Stephenville in May 2015 and chartered in November, 2015.  As Executive Director and CEO, I am responsible for oversight and administration of all economic development projects and programs carried out by SEDA including business development or redevelopment projects, business financing, business retention and expansion, workforce development and recruitment, and economic development related infrastructure projects needed by the City of Stephenville.

I shared "real world" experiences to graduate students in the Economic Development Program at USM in Real Estate and Land use Planning for Economic Development.  The course provides the student with instruction in concepts and practices associated with real estate, planning, and law in economic development.

Refective Practitioner

I teach a Purchasing and Materials Management course to upper level undergraduate students in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Program at UNT-Dallas. The course includes original planning through delivery of finished products; purchasing, inventory control, receiving, stores, production control, traffic and materials handling.

Beginning in January 2017, I also began teaching a Masters level course in the Public Leadership Department in public budgeting and finance. The course exams the budgetary process and innovations in budget preparation with emphasis on the role of the budget as a tool for financial control, improving program performance, and policy making.  Topics include budget innovation, accounting, and financial reporting.
