John Henry is a Dominican-American entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as the Cofounder and Co-CEO of LOOP, an insurance company that utilizes AI to create equitable insurance products for underserved communities. Based in Austin, Texas, Henry has a notable background in entrepreneurship and venture capital.

Early Career and Ventures

Henry's entrepreneurial journey began when he dropped out of college at 18 to start his first business while working as a doorman. He founded a commercial dry cleaning service tailored for film and television productions, achieving $1 million in revenue before selling the business by age 21. His clients included major productions such as The Wolf of Wall Street and Law and Order: SVU.

He also co-founded Cofound Harlem, the first incubator in Harlem, aimed at promoting economic development in the area. Additionally, he was involved in the Real Estate technology accelerator AREA, where he helped invest in various real estate-related startups.
