John Henningsen

John Henningsen is a creative producer with over twenty years of experience in non-profit theatre and over a decade as an arts manager.

He has worked with various esteemed organizations including Chicago Shakespeare, American Theater Company, Next Theater, HERE Arts Center, Circle X Theatre Co., Boston Court, the Getty Villa, and Lovewell Institute for the Creative Arts.

John holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Theatre/Theatre Arts Management from the California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Theatre/Theater from Emporia State University.

Currently, he serves as the Producing Director of the immersive theater company, The Speakeasy Society, and as the Production Manager for The Secret City-LA. Additionally, John is the Founder of Thymele Arts.

His previous roles include being the Artistic Director at Thymele Arts, Production Manager at Windward School, Artistic Director at Theatre Atchison, and Education Director at Salina Community Theatre.
