John Hartshorn is a seasoned professional with 30 years of experience in geospatial information, analysis, management, and location intelligence, primarily gained from global software companies.

Throughout his career, John has been involved in various stages of project lifecycles, including project delivery, consulting, team leadership, business unit management, relationship and account management, bid management, sales, and business development.

Currently, he holds a role in product management focusing on developing new products and services leveraging geospatial information.

Driven by a passion for sustainability, biodiversity, and the green economy, John completed postgraduate studies in 'Biodiversity & Ecosystem Services' and 'Frontiers of Sustainability Science' at Bournemouth University with exceptional pass marks.

He is pursuing further studies in 'Environmental Law & Social Justice' to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Green Economy.

As a Member of the Board of Trustees at the Yorkshire Rewilding Network, John contributes significantly by managing the website, running social media channels, and organizing online events.
