Dr. John M. Harrison is an experienced educator and school administrator who has served as the Principal of Rockland High School since 2016.1 He has a strong background in mathematics and a proven track record in educational leadership. Dr. Harrison holds a doctorate in education from Northeastern University, a Master of Science in accounting from Babson College, and a Bachelor of Science in business management from Babson College, where he graduated magna cum laude.1
Prior to his role at Rockland High School, Dr. Harrison worked as a high school math teacher for five years at Reading Memorial High School and as assistant principal for four years at Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School.1 During his tenure at Rockland High School, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in curriculum development, student support initiatives, and community engagement.1
Dr. Harrison has been appointed as the new principal of Taunton High School, effective July 1, 2024.1 In his personal life, he is married to Larissa and has three children: Peyton (6), Elias (3), and Connor (9 months).1 He enjoys cooking and supporting Boston sports teams in his free time.1
