John Gontero, also known as Jack, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in accounting, risk management, and corporate governance.

With a career spanning 38 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), John primarily served banking clients, conducting projects for approximately 125 financial institutions, including large US banks, regional banks, and numerous community banks.

In addition to his banking clientele, John spent over 25 years in PwC's Higher Education practice, where he worked with renowned universities.

Throughout his tenure at PwC, John held various senior management roles and played a key part in developing and delivering training courses on risk management for corporate accounting and internal audit staff, Boards of Directors, and PwC employees.

After retiring in June 2012, John continued to stay active in the professional arena by joining the Board of Directors of The Wanderlust Group (TWG), focusing on revenue management software and services for marinas through its subsidiary Dockwa.

Aside from his corporate engagements, John has been actively involved in volunteer work, serving on the boards of various organizations like regional Chambers of Commerce, United Way, American Red Cross, Family Alliance, Arts Council, and the Exchange Club.

John Gontero holds a BSBA in Accounting from Xavier University, earned in 1974. In retirement, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his children and grandchildren, and stays active through participation in senior sports like slow-pitch softball, tennis, and pickleball.
