John Gaicd is an experienced information security professional, advisor, and speaker with over 30 years of experience in the ICT industry. He possesses a wide range of skills and expertise in areas such as governance, risk assessment, design, implementation, and administration of information security. John is a member of the Australian Information Security Association, Australian Institute of Company Directors, Active Cyber Defense Alliance, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is also a Director at the Australian National Cyber Institute and has previously worked as a Consultant and Manager in various companies such as Telstra, Bridge Point Communications, and Server Central Pty Ltd.

Through his work as a Security Principal for Telstra Purple in Queensland, he has provided extensive security and business consulting services to customers. John is a driven individual who is committed to applying his technical skills and expertise in cyber-security to improve boardroom operations.
