John Frankel is a renowned technology investor with a strong passion for nurturing and supporting founders in building the future's prominent businesses.

In 2008, he established ff Venture Capital with a mission to collaborate with visionary founders, and the firm has since financed over 150 seed and early-stage ventures, significantly impacting the job market and millions of lives.

Focusing on various industries, John Frankel currently holds a keen interest in applied artificial intelligence, which includes drones, robotics, and financial services technology.

In addition to his venture capital endeavors, John has actively contributed to the ecosystem by serving on the boards of more than sixty companies and the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, working towards the advancement of the New York City entrepreneurial landscape.

Prior to founding ffVC, John Frankel had a distinguished career at Goldman Sachs, assuming multiple roles that involved technology development, business reengineering, and capital markets, providing him with invaluable insights into emerging technologies and portfolio risk management.

John's educational background includes earning a Masters's degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from New College, Oxford in 1982, and obtaining qualification as a Fellow Chartered Accountant after working at Arthur Andersen.
