John Fonville is a seasoned marketing professional with a robust background of over 15 years in marketing content and social media at GEICO.

During his tenure at GEICO, John has spearheaded innovative strategies to amplify the brand's digital and social footprint, broaden its audience outreach, and cultivate customer loyalty.

He excels in developing and managing engaging content and campaigns across diverse channels and platforms, leveraging CRM tools, budgeting expertise, and analytics to optimize performance and furnish leadership with valuable insights.

In his role as the division program lead, John skillfully orchestrated content and project workflows, curated editorial calendars, and supervised various advertising initiatives such as paid social media, native and programmatic ads, influencer strategies, and on-site event coverage.

John also played a pivotal role in coaching other divisions on the effective utilization of GEICO's enterprise-wide social media management system (SMM).

His notable achievements include securing the position of the #1 auto insurance brand for Share of Voice on social media in both 2020 and 2021, as well as spearheading new content strategies for GEICO Gaming accounts that generated over 1 billion branded impressions in 2017 and 2018.
