John Feketekuty

John C. Feketekuty is the Co-CIO at Montgomery County Employee Retirement Plans (MCERP), bringing over 15 years of experience in portfolio management, investment research, and due diligence.

In his role, John is a key decision maker within the Investment Committee, overseeing strategic asset allocation, investment strategy, and security selection. MCERP has been recognized in the CIO Power 100 List in 2018 & 2019.

His expertise includes financial statement analysis, top-down sector analysis, corporate governance, risk management, macroeconomic forecasting, and strategic asset allocation. John's prior affiliations include Campion Wealth Management and Ariba Asset Management, where he managed institutional and high net worth portfolios using equity and fixed income securities.

John holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Maryland, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and pursued an MBA in Finance at Georgetown University - The McDonough School of Business. He is actively involved in the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Washington, where he volunteers on the CFA Candidate Education Committee.

With a background in analyzing asset allocation, risk budgeting, and portfolio rebalancing, John Feketekuty's in-depth knowledge extends to selecting and terminating external investment managers and consultants.

John was also recognized for outstanding leadership in the Hinman CEO's entrepreneurship program during his academic years.
