John Fazio

John Fazio is the CEO and Founder of Nerd Street Gamers, a company based in Philadelphia that focuses on building competitive gaming infrastructures. He has held this position since September 2017. Under his leadership, Nerd Street Gamers has developed a platform that supports both physical and digital gaming experiences, enabling game publishers to create competitive ecosystems at scale. The company has received funding from notable investors including Founders Fund, Comcast Spectacor, and Five Below.1

In addition to his role at Nerd Street, Fazio is also the Chairman of Jarvus Innovations and the Founder and Managing Partner of Third Wave Capital. His experience includes a decade-long tenure as CEO and co-founder of Jarvus Innovations, a software engineering firm focused on pioneering new categories in technology.1

Fazio's educational background includes studies in Physics at Drexel University, where he also played varsity soccer before leaving to start his entrepreneurial journey. He has been recognized in various lists for his contributions to innovation, including being named in the Philadelphia Business Journal's 40 under 40 and Fast Company's list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies in 2020.1
