John Elton, a New York-based venture capitalist, is a Partner at Greycroft Partners, one of the leading early-stage venture capital firms. He has an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the renowned New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a BA degree in Economics from Lehigh University. With over a decade and a half of experience in the venture capital industry, John has held Senior Analyst and Strategic Planning roles at Veronis Suhler Stevenson and 24/7 Real Media, respectively. He advised dMarc Broadcasting on its first-ever round of institutional financing at Turnstone Capital before selling to Google.

Over the years, he has led and served as a Board Member or Observer on several exciting and innovative startups such as Candid Co., PebblePost, MapAnything, TripleLift, Vizu, and Vidible, among others. John is happily married and is the proud parent of three children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time in the wilds of Westchester.
