John Eggum

John Eggum is a partner at Foran Glennon Palandech Ponzi & Rudloff, specializing in insurance coverage disputes and commercial litigation.

He handles a wide range of property and casualty commercial lines disputes, representing insurance companies in property coverage litigation, inland marine matters, and liability coverage disputes.

John also represents private and public companies, including financial institutions, in commercial disputes nationwide, and provides representation in insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings.

He is a Board member of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, serving as the Vice-Chair of the Legislative Committee and as the Legislative Columnist for the IDC Quarterly.

John is a member of the Illinois bar with a law degree obtained from The University of Iowa College of Law, where he also completed undergraduate degrees in finance and political science.

Following law school, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. Bruce A. Markell in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada.

Furthermore, John Eggum is an appointed commissioner to the Housing Commission in Arlington Heights, Illinois, and has previously served as a commissioner to the Arlington Heights Senior Citizens Commission.
