John Cordrey is a highly skilled Chartered Accountant and Principal at Foresight Group, a leading private equity and infrastructure investor based in the UK.14 He specializes in private equity and venture capital, with a proven track record of successfully leading and supporting numerous transactions.
Prior to joining Foresight Group in 20163, Cordrey worked at Inflexion Private Equity.1 He has also held positions at PwC, Ernst & Young, and Lloyds Banking Group.
Cordrey has been instrumental in identifying, sourcing and executing deals for various businesses, including Idio, Camloc, Fresh Relevance, and Usheru. He has also served as a Non-Executive Director for THE NAKED DELI and Online Poundshop Limited.2
In addition to his professional experience, Cordrey has an excellent academic record, having completed his ACA (Chartered Accountant) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a degree in Business Finance from Durham University, and studied Law, Business, and English at Ludlow College.
Cordrey is currently managing the £50m equity fund as part of the Investment Fund for Wales, on behalf of the British Business Bank.5 He is also an active member of IoD 99, an angler, antiques and classic cars collector, and takes a keen interest in property development.
