John Collins is a highly experienced leader in numerous technology-driven industries. He has over 25 years of global experience, managing Profit and Loss centers, and creating value by identifying business opportunities that accelerate the development and commercialization of innovative products and services. John has a broad range of technological expertise covering the clean energy/tech, consumer durables, and medical devices industries in North America and Asia. He has the ability to form and lead high-performance project and operational teams, manage intellectual property portfolios, and structure and drive collaborative business relationships with companies ranging from start-ups to premier multi-national organizations.

John has an impressive educational background. He has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. All three of his degrees are from world-renowned schools. He received his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

John is the Director of Innovation Platforms at CIMIT, an organization focused on developing innovative medical technologies. He is also the co-founder of Reed Collins LLC, the former President of TIAX LLC, and the former Senior Vice President of Arthur D. Little. John's expertise in technology, innovation, and value creation has benefitted all that he has worked with in his extensive career.
