John Cohn

John Cohn is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the technology industry.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

John has also studied history at the Institute of European Studies and electrical engineering at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.

Throughout his career, John Cohn has been associated with IBM in various capacities, including as an IBM Fellow at multiple divisions such as the Watson AI Lab, Watson IoT Division, and IBM Corporate Technical Strategy.

He has served as the Chief Scientist for Electronic Design Automation and has been honored as an IBM Fellow Emeritus at the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab.

Additionally, John Cohn has been a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at the University of Vermont and has been involved with the Maker Movement.
