Throughout his career, John has held diverse roles, from serving as a Senior Renewable Energy Developer at various organizations like RevoluSun and Distributed Energy Partners (DEP Hawaii) to acting as a Teacher in Economics and American Studies at Punahou School.

Furthermore, John has contributed significantly to educational institutions such as Kupu Hou Academy and Mid-Pacific Institute, where he has served as a Coordinator and Faculty member, respectively, demonstrating his commitment to nurturing and empowering students of all backgrounds and abilities.

His tenure as President and Executive Director at Kuleana Micro-Lending underscores his dedication to fostering financial inclusion and economic empowerment within communities.
