John Cerqui

John Cerqui is an accomplished attorney with vast experience in Labor and Employment, Litigation Management, and School Law. He attended Pepperdine University, where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General. He furthered his studies at Fordham University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) and New York University School of Law, where he obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation.

John currently serves Seattle Public Schools as Deputy General Counsel, a position he has held after serving as Acting General Counsel. He also worked as an Associate at Lane Powell PC, where he gained extensive experience in litigation management. Additionally, he previously served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Washington State Supreme Court.

As an accomplished attorney, John has a proven track record of success in representing clients in complex legal cases. He is a member of various legal organizations and has contributed to numerous legal publications. His wealth of experience and expertise makes him a valuable asset to Seattle Public Schools and the legal profession at large.
