John-Carlo Bautista

John-Carlo Bautista, a native New Yorker from Mount Vernon, has a diverse background in finance and government relations.

After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Pace University, John-Carlo embarked on a successful career journey.

He started as a Corporate Intern at FINRA before moving on to roles at Morgan Stanley, where he specialized in Legal & Compliance and Trade Surveillance within Investment Management.

Currently, John-Carlo holds the position of Director of External Affairs at the NYC Department of Correction, overseeing relationships with oversight bodies and community organizations.

His involvement in politics includes working on Mayor Eric Adams' campaign, serving on the Mayor's Transition Team, and being an active member of the New York County Democratic Committee.

Apart from his professional endeavors, John-Carlo is dedicated to promoting diversity, holding advisory and steering committee positions in organizations like Environmental Leaders of Color and Silent Procession for Puerto Rico.
