    John Cantrell, a Designer and Strategist based in Atlanta, boasts a rich portfolio spanning 15 years of experience in brand strategy, creative direction, product design, events-and-exhibitions, interiors, and architecture.

    His work has been featured in prestigious publications like Interior Design, Fast Company, Dezeen, and GB+C magazine. He has received awards from major media and design publications in North America.

    John has contributed significantly to the field, serving on the Advisory Board for the Building Arts Department at SCAD. Additionally, he has held positions such as the Sustainable Design Advisor for the Georgia Chapter of IIDA and chair of the 2008‐09 Trash to Treasure Art Auction, supporting Public Art for the Atlanta BeltLine.

    Education wise, John pursued a BFA in Interior Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, as well as further studies in Interior Design at the Pratt Institute.

    Throughout his career, John has been associated with renowned organizations, including Gensler where he has held roles such as Consulting Strategist, Sabbatical for Skill Development & Family Leave, Studio Co-Director - Workplace, and Sr. Interior Designer - Project Director. He has also worked as Brand & Marketing Co-Director at Shaw Contract, Pinterest Content Creator at HelloSociety (part of the New York Times Company), and as a Designer at HOK.
