John Callaghan is a highly educated individual with a diverse background in conflict resolution, governance, and international relations. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Conflict Resolution and Governance from the University of Amsterdam, a BA (Hons) with majors in Russian and a minor in English Literature from Trinity College, Dublin, and also attended St. Eunan's College in Letterkenny. John has a strong professional history with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Ireland, where he served as a First Secretary and previously as a Third Secretary in both the general capacity and within the Human Rights Unit. His experience extends beyond government roles, having worked in customer service and affiliate services at companies like Broadway Gaming and Dial Global. John also held positions at Bank of Ireland and was a co-founder of New Story Leadership for the Middle East. Additionally, he interned at the Embassy of Ireland in Washington DC.
