John Betancourt

John Betancourt is a best-selling author and the founder of Wildside Press, a small press book and magazine publishing company established in 1989.

Starting as a hobby, Wildside Press has flourished under John's leadership, becoming a full-time venture.

Aside from publishing, John is a prolific writer with over 40 books to his name, specializing in mysteries. His works have been featured in prestigious publications like Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine and the Malice Domestic anthology series.

In 2007, John was honored with the Black Orchid Novella Award from the Nero Wolfe Society and Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine for his novella 'Horse Pit.'

Currently, John Betancourt is working on a sequel to John W. Campbell's renowned story, 'Who Goes There?' which was adapted into the movie 'The Thing' by John Carpenter.

John's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Temple University.
