John Beccia

John Beccia is a well-known figure in the fintech advisory space, having co-founded and led FS Vector, a Washington DC consultancy that offers strategic regulatory, compliance, and technology advice to businesses in the financial industry. With a wealth of experience spanning legal, regulatory affairs, and finance, Mr. Beccia is a recognized authority on topics ranging from blockchain and cryptocurrency to regtech and public policy. Prior to his work with FS Vector, John held senior leadership positions at Circle Internet Financial, a global crypto finance company, and at Boston Private Financial Holdings, where he served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. He also spent time as an attorney with Perkins Smith & Cohen LLP and worked as Chief Regulatory Counsel and Research Director for The Financial Services Roundtable. John's education includes a BA in Political Science and Government from Providence College, a JD from Roger Williams University School of Law, and an LLM in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University School of Law. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at Boston University School of Law and has served as a Chair of the In-House Counsel Subcommittee of the American Bar Association's Banking Law Committee.
