John currently serves as the EVP and Head of Commercial Real Estate and Specialty Finance at Byline Bank, where he brings valuable expertise and leadership to the role.

Previously, he held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Commercial Real Estate at Byline Bank, showcasing his progression and success within the organization.

Prior to his roles at Byline Bank, John held prominent positions such as Chief Credit Officer at Bridgeview Bank Group and Special Asset Consultant at ST Residential, demonstrating his strategic insight and financial acumen.

His professional journey also includes experiences as a Consultant and Principal at Mbark Financial LLC, as well as Executive Vice President roles at ST Residential and Corus Bank, where he excelled in asset management and credit risk assessment.

Before his executive roles, John gained valuable legal experience working as an Associate Attorney at Jones & Blouch and Christy & Viener, which further enriched his skill set and understanding of legal intricacies in finance and business.
