John Altmeyer

John Altmeyer is the Chief Executive Officer of GAF, North America's largest roofing manufacturer.12 He assumed this role in January 2023, succeeding Jim Schnepper.1
Career Background
Prior to becoming CEO, Altmeyer served as Executive Chairman of GAF's Commercial Roofing division from January 2021 to January 2023.3 During his tenure in this position, GAF's commercial sales more than doubled, and significant strategic progress was made to set the business up for continued growth.1
