John Albert is an accomplished urban planner and designer with a keen understanding of affordable housing and land development. Urban Planning, Specialization in Land Development & Urban Design, Minor in Economics at the University of Waterloo. With years of experience working as an Urban Planning Assistant at Dillon Consulting Limited, MHBC, and as an Environmental Scientist at Terrapex Environmental Ltd., John has established himself as an expert in urban planning, affordable housing, and land development. He is also a former Vice President of Advocacy at Engineers Without Borders Canada and a former Developer at TD.
John's interests extend beyond urban planning, with expertise in mechatronics engineering, network operations analysis, and junior electrical engineering. He served as a Network Operations Analyst at Sun Life Financial and as a Junior Mechanical Engineer at Moloney Electric Inc. John is passionate about sharing his knowledge and expertise with others; therefore, he was a guest speaker at the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business's eCOOP program and served as External Auditor.
