John Adkins is a highly experienced management professional with over thirty years of experience in legal and library settings. He has a proven record of accomplishment in problem-solving, innovation, leadership, strategic development, branding, marketing, fundraising, education and outreach programs, legal research and training, diversity advancement, and research interests, namely global human trafficking, anti-discrimination, and US/Mexico border. John's primary focus areas are making positive changes that increase access to justice for everyone.

John has studied an AB in humanities and sociology, JD in Law, and MLIS in librarianship from the University of California, Berkeley. He has held various leadership positions such as Director of Libraries at San Diego County Public Law Library, Former President at San Diego Area Law Libraries, Former Member President's Advisory Board on Inclusion & Diversity at the University of San Diego, and Formerly Executive Board Member at American Association of Law Libraries, and more.

In his spare time, John contributes to the community by serving as a volunteer attorney at San Francisco AIDS Foundation and a volunteer caregiver at Shanti Project. He also founded the PLU diversity program at Khourie, Crew & Jaeger, PC. John's contributions to legal and library settings have been extraordinary, providing access to justice for everyone.
