John A. Burt is a Professor of Biology and Head of Environmental Studies at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD).1 He leads the NYUAD Marine Biology Laboratory and is a co-Principal Investigator of the Arabian Center for Climate and Environmental Sciences (ACCESS) and the Water Research Center (WRC).1
