    Johannes Zech is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background in International Law, Political Science, and Government.

    He holds a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, along with certificates in International Law and Legal Studies from The Hague Academy of International Public Law, and International Relations and Affairs from Institute d'Etudes Politiques in Aix-en-provence.

    Johannes has a diverse and extensive work history, primarily with the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees). He has held various roles within the organization, including Senior Emergency Coordinator, Senior Resource Manager a.i., Executive Assistant, Associate Project Manager, Emergency Officer, Associate Programme Officer, Associate External Relations Officer (on emergency mission), and Associate External Affairs Officer / Donor Relations.

    In addition to his work at UNHCR, Johannes has also worked as a Consultant at Aga Khan Foundation and served as the Carlo Schmid Fellow at UNDP.

    His experience spans emergency coordination, resource management, project management, external relations, donor relations, and various other aspects of humanitarian work and international relations.
