Johannes Schaaf

Johannes Schaaf is a prominent German director, actor, and author. Born on December 17, 1935, in Stuttgart, Germany, Schaaf's passion for theater began at a young age. He began his career in the 1960s, directing various productions for different theaters, including the Schiller-Theater in Berlin. Schaaf eventually transitioned to film and television, directing and acting in numerous productions, such as the Academy Award-winning film, "The Tin Drum" (1979). He is also an accomplished author and has written several children's books and plays.
