Johanna Friedman
Johanna Friedman is a versatile artist and educator with a background in fine arts, textile design, and graphic design. Friedman studied at Konstfack and California College of the Arts where she completed a BFA in Textile Art and an MFA in Fine/Studio Arts, respectively. Johanna’s diverse professional experience includes teaching at San Francisco State University and HDK-School of Design and Crafts. She has also worked as a visiting artist, costume and set designer, freelance graphic designer, visual artist, artist assistant, art director, and advisor in textiles for various organizations. Notably, Friedman worked as an illustration designer at H&M and is currently listed as the author of the "Illustration" section of the third edition of "Design Elements, Using Images to Create Graphic Impact" by Aaris Sherin.
