Johan Eker

Johan Eker is a Professor at Lund University, specifically in the Department of Automatic Control. He also serves as a Principal Researcher at Ericsson Research. His work focuses on the intersection of computer science and control theory, particularly in the automation of large-scale software systems, including cloud services and telecom networks, utilizing machine learning and control theory. This research is conducted in collaboration with Ericsson, allowing access to real-world data and cloud environments.12

Eker holds a Ph.D. in automatic control from Lund University, which he completed in 1999. His previous research included programming techniques for multicore systems and the control of networked and wireless systems, especially in the context of edge computing and connected manufacturing environments.34
