Joey Krug, a Thiel Fellow and Edmund Hillary Fellow, is a passionate technologist with a background in computer science. He began coding in middle school and went on to study computer science at Pomona College. Joey co-started a top-ranked AngelList Syndicate in 2016 and gained recognition for his investments in innovative startups. He is currently the Co-Chief Investment Officer at Pantera Capital, a leading blockchain-focused investment firm. Joey is also a co-founder of the Forecast Foundation, which develops Augur, a decentralized oracle and prediction market protocol, and Eco, a simple platform for spending, sending, saving and making money. In his free time, he contributes to Pyethereum and enjoys reading.
