Joey Caughey

Joey Caughey is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Trickfilm Entertainment, a position he has held since September 2021. In this role, he has been instrumental in developing Trickfilm's cloud-native technology, which enhances the production, distribution, and monetization of animated content. His work involves creating scalable web platforms using technologies such as NUXT/Vue.js, Firebase, and integrating various payment systems and streaming technologies.12

Caughey has a robust background in web development and architecture, with experience spanning over two decades. Before joining Trickfilm, he worked as a Senior Web Developer at Context Creative and has also freelanced on numerous projects. His technical expertise includes AWS DevOps, JavaScript frameworks, and systems architecture.13

In addition to his professional work, Caughey is noted for his involvement in various creative projects as a musician and entrepreneur.4
