Joey Asher is an accomplished public speaking coach and trainer with extensive experience in helping business professionals and sellers connect with listeners and sell ideas. For nearly 30 years, his company, Speechworks, has been offering communication and public speaking skills training and coaching through workshops, seminars, and private sessions.
His expertise lies in coaching business people, leaders, managers, lawyers, and IT professionals to speak in a way that is simple, persuasive, and connects with clients. Joey has a J.D. in Law from Emory University School of Law and a B.A. in English from Cornell University.
Before venturing into public speaking training, Joey was an attorney at Troutman Sanders LLP and a reporter at The Journal News and The Gainesville Times. He has also taught MBA students as an adjunct professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Joey has authored five books on public speaking, including "Even a Geek Can Speak: Low Tech Communication Skills for High Tech People" and "Selling and Communication Skills for Lawyers."
