Joey Anthony

Joey Anthony is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the biotech industry. He currently works at Ultima Genomics, a biotech startup in Stockton, California, where he has been since 2018.1 Joey holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Engineering from Dartmouth College, graduating in 2012 and 2013 respectively.24

At Ultima Genomics, Joey was one of the first mechanical engineers hired when the company had only about 40 employees.1 The company is working on delivering genome sequencing for $100, which garnered attention at the Advances in Genome Biology and Technology conference and in The New York Times.1
