Joerg Tewes is a seasoned technology industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in delivering top-notch consumer products to the market.

Throughout his career, Tewes has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in managing, motivating, and inspiring global teams.

As the CEO of Avegant, he successfully secured $50M in venture capital funding and led the development and commercialization of innovative hardware and software solutions.

Tewes is renowned as a business and thought leader in the fields of video and augmented reality, overseeing the marketing of Avegant's Mixed Reality Light Field Technology and launching the award-winning Glyph product.

Prior to his role at Avegant, Tewes was a key member of Logitech's global leadership team, where he managed various business units with significant P&L responsibilities.

During his tenure at Logitech, he spearheaded the launch of the HD Webcam lineup, including the acclaimed C910 model, and played a pivotal role in transforming the Digital Home unit into a leading home control platform.

Before joining Logitech, he served as VP of Engineering at Pinnacle Systems, focusing on consumer hardware and software development.

Tewes kickstarted his career at Poet Holdings, a pioneering German tech startup, where he led the product team to a successful IPO in 1999.

His educational background includes a Diploma in Computer Science from the Technical University of Berlin.
