Joerg Heuer

Dr. Jörg Heuer is a highly accomplished professional with a background in Electrical Engineering, specializing in digital signal processing and high frequency engineering. He obtained his Dipl.-Ing. degree from the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen, Germany, in 1997, and later completed his PhD with a focus on metadata indexing and coding. Dr. Heuer has a wealth of experience from his tenure at the Corporate Technology of Siemens AG, where he has held various leadership roles in source coding, signal processing, and distributed applications. He has actively contributed to ISO standardization efforts since 1999, co-editing multiple standards, and has participated in numerous European research projects.
