Joelle Dieu is an experienced publishing professional with over 15 years of international experience in various sectors of the publishing industry. With a specialization in cross-cultural relationship-building and client management, Dieu has a wealth of expertise in content development, content brokering, and foreign rights management. Dieu obtained her BA in Linguistics, Italian Studies, and German from Duke University, and also completed a semester in Italy where she studied Italian Language and Literature.

Dieu has held various leadership positions throughout her career, including her current role as Subsidiary Rights Director at Grand Central Publishing, Hachette Nashville, Hachette Books. Prior to this, she served as Deputy Director of Foreign Rights at Random House, a division of Penguin Random House. She also worked at Maria B. Campbell Associates as an assistant and junior book scout.
