Joel Strickland

Joel Strickland is an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in governance and operations, especially in early-stage businesses. He has a passion for assisting First Nations communities to take charge of their resource development and infrastructure through his company, Long North. Joel is a diverse businessman with extensive experience, launching a plant-based food business, Tribal Kitchens, and a music business, Kastilla Music. He is an active investor at Personal Investments and previously served as Founder and President of BRE. Joel is a recent graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors at the Rotman School of the University of Toronto, where he honed his skills in managing successful teams, mobilizing resources, and leading transformative corporate changes.
