Joel Leske is a seasoned environmental professional with over 12 years of experience in the field, having worked with top retail companies like Coles Supermarkets and Kmart.

Joel's journey in environmental sustainability began when he participated in the Coles Excellence Awards in 2001, which sparked his passion for reducing environmental impacts.

His expertise in environmental matters led him to win the Young Retail Executive of the Year for Coles, propelling him into a role where he championed the implementation of sustainability initiatives in stores.

Currently serving as the Environment Advisor for Kmart, Joel handles various environmental aspects such as waste management, recycling, water usage, and crucially focuses on reducing energy consumption and packaging impact.

In addition to his practical experience, Joel has acquired formal qualifications through programs like the Fellowship Program at the Centre for Sustainability Leadership, the Climate Reality Program by Al Gore and the Australian Conservation Foundation, as well as certifications in Front Line Management and project management.
