Joel Gerlach

Joel Gerlach is the Chief Wallprinter at Surface.Ink Vertical Printing, a position he has held since February 2023. Based in Eugene, Oregon, he specializes in pioneering direct-to-surface printing technology that is transforming interior design and branding. With over 14 years of experience across various sectors including film, advertising, gaming, and VR/AR, Gerlach has collaborated with well-known brands such as Disney, LEGO, and General Electric.1

He graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude, and has a rich background in the Hollywood film industry, contributing to major films like Thor and The Avengers. His creative expertise extends to directing award-winning advertising campaigns and managing teams of designers and artists.1

In addition to his role at Surface.Ink, Gerlach has launched several companies and is known for his entrepreneurial spirit. He enjoys hobbies that include driving a DeLorean and expanding his LEGO collection.1
