Joel Berry

Joel Berry is the Managing Editor of The Babylon Bee, a prominent satirical news website known for its humorous take on current events and cultural issues. He began his journey with The Babylon Bee as a fan and subsequently became a full-time writer before advancing to his current editorial role in October 2020.12

In addition to his editorial responsibilities, Berry is a co-author of notable works such as The Babylon Bee Guide to Wokeness and The Postmodern Pilgrim's Progress, both of which have gained significant attention and acclaim.12 His work has been featured in various media outlets, including Newsweek and Fox News, while also facing criticism from others like CNN and The New York Times, which have labeled it as "dangerous disinformation" under the guise of satire.2

Berry has a diverse background, having previously worked in various roles including as a supply chain logistics manager and a corporate account manager. He has also served in the United States Marine Corps, where he was recognized as Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year.34 Outside of his professional life, he is a father of five and an advocate for pro-life issues.2
