Joel Aurora is an accomplished professional with a strong background in law and politics.
He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations, along with a minor in Spanish, graduating cum laude from UC Santa Barbara.
Building on his undergraduate studies, Joel pursued his passion for law by completing his Doctor of Law degree, also cum laude, at UC Hastings College of the Law.
Throughout his career, Joel has gained valuable experience and has held various positions, including his current role as an Associate at Nielsen Merksamer.
Prior to his current position, he worked as a Junior Counsel at Activision and gained insights into judicial processes as a Judicial Extern for The Honorable William H. Orrick.
Joel has also served as an Associate at the Law Offices of George M. Rush and undertook roles as a Judicial Extern for The Honorable Goodwin Liu and a Legal Extern at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
