Joe Zakierski

Joe Zakierski is a Principal at Bessemer Trust.13 He has a background in finance and has been with Bessemer Trust for several years. Zakierski's career at Bessemer Trust includes roles such as Associate Portfolio Manager and Senior Vice President.2 He is involved in portfolio management for short-duration fixed-income strategies, developing and implementing strategies across investment-grade asset classes including Treasuries, corporate bonds, government agencies, asset-backed securities, and collateralized loan obligations.2

Zakierski is also a member of Bessemer Trust's Investment Policy and Strategy Committee (IPSC).2 Prior to his current role, he served as an Associate Portfolio Manager and Senior Vice President from January 2019 to April 2024, where he was responsible for taxable fixed-income accounts and assisted in evaluating overall client asset allocation.2

In addition to his work at Bessemer Trust, Zakierski has been an Adjunct Professor of Financial Modeling at Fordham Gabelli School of Business since September 2022.2 He holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance from The College of New Jersey.2
