Joe W. Shapiro

Joe Shapiro is a talented multimedia editor, videographer, and documentary filmmaker with a strong background in entertainment arts and film studies. Over the past decade, Shapiro has honed his skills as a freelance producer, director, editor, and sound designer, working with a diverse array of clients and organizations, including Matt Jaffe & the Distractions, For Everyman Productions, Buck Institute for Education, and Uncle Brother Productions, among others. Shapiro's passion for visual storytelling has driven him to pursue a B.A. in Film/Cinema/Video Studies at Portland State University, where he is currently a junior. With a 3.6 GPA at College for Creative Studies and a 3.53 GPA at San Francisco State University, Shapiro has demonstrated his commitment to academic excellence and his ability to thrive in diverse learning environments. Shapiro is now seeking opportunities to gain real-world experience in the entertainment industry through internships or part-time work.
