Joe Schimmelpfennig

Joe Schimmelpfennig is the Managing Director and Head of Consumer Investment Banking at D.A. Davidson Companies.12 He joined the firm in 2017 and has over 25 years of transaction and advisory experience in the consumer and consumer services sectors.2

Schimmelpfennig specializes in M&A advisory services and capital markets activities, providing general corporate finance and M&A advice to growth companies.2 Prior to joining D.A. Davidson, he was the Head of Investment Banking at Wunderlich Securities and led the firm's Consumer and Business Services Investment Banking practice.2 He also previously worked as a Managing Director at ROTH Capital Partners, where he helped build the firm's Consumer and Business Services Investment Banking practice.2

In his current role, Schimmelpfennig leads the coordination of consumer industry strategies and activities, as well as the growth of his team.1 He is based in Newport Beach, California.4 Schimmelpfennig received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from Coe College.23
