Joe Salvatore

Joe Salvatore is a seasoned professional with a background in financial technology start-ups, risk decision engines, and automated marketing frameworks. With extensive experience in venture debt and equity raises totaling $300MM, he has facilitated funding of over $250MM in loan assets. Joe's expertise spans from behavioral science and statistics to risk analysis, marketing, software development, and team leadership.

His academic journey includes two master's degrees and a Ph.D. in Experimental Quantitative Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Joe has also studied Credit Analysis and Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University.

Currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer at Idea Financial, Joe also imparts his knowledge as an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University. His previous roles include Director of Risk Management, Director of Data Science at Idea Financial, Senior Data Scientist at FlexShopper, and various teaching and research positions at prominent universities.

Joe's focus lies in managing enterprise risk for sustainable growth and mentoring students on statistical principles. He is known for his innovative research methodologies and translating findings into practical applications.
