Joe Ondrak is a senior researcher at Logically with a background in English language and literature. He holds a PhD and master's by research from Sheffield Hallam University and previously worked as an associate lecturer in English at the same university. Joe is passionate about understanding how disinformation persists online and how bad actors wield our platforms of connection for deception.
In addition to his academic background, Joe has held various positions in outreach and recruitment at the Doncaster College and University Centre and the University of Wolverhampton. He also worked as a bicycle mechanic at Russell's Bicycle Shed.
At Logically, Joe utilizes OSINT and academic research methods to investigate and analyze disinformation campaigns and the spread of misleading information online. His focus is on understanding the mechanisms of deception and how we can prevent it from influencing public opinion.
